Our Story
Why Casa La Granada Was Created
A physician-led vision to offer families a smaller, more personal, and more gracious alternative to institutional senior care settings.
Founder Vision
Created for families who deserve a better option.
Years of experience across assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and home care made one thing clear: families are too often asked to choose between attentive care and a setting that feels warm, beautiful, and residential.
Some places provide support but feel institutional. Others look impressive but lack the consistency, personalization, or daily thoughtfulness families are looking for. Casa La Granada was created to offer both.
What changed
With physician leadership and hands-on operational experience, the founders built a six-resident home where dignity, consistency, and refinement could coexist without institutional scale.

Philosophy in Practice
Why Rancho Santa Fe
Rancho Santa Fe is not simply the location of Casa La Granada. It helps shape the experience of the home. The setting is quiet, established, and residential, with easy access to The Village and familiar local destinations. For families, that means a care environment that feels both elevated and close to everyday life.
Daily Life
Intentionally Small. Thoughtfully Run.
Casa La Granada is intentionally designed for just six residents. That smaller scale allows for more consistency, stronger relationships, and a calmer daily rhythm. Caregivers have time to know each resident personally, routines can be shaped around the individual, and families benefit from clearer communication and greater peace of mind.
Residence
Designed for Dignity, Comfort, and Daily Ease
Every part of the residence was chosen to support comfort and quality of life, from private suites and gracious shared living spaces to quiet outdoor courtyards, chef-prepared meals, and thoughtfully structured days. The goal is not formality. It is a home that feels polished, welcoming, and genuinely livable.
