Dr. Delair Alnajjar, M.D.

Dr. Delair Alnajjar brings direct experience caring for older adults across assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and home care settings. As co-founder of , he has supported families throughout North County and saw the need for a residence that offers both elevated surroundings and truly personalized care. At Casa La Granada, he helps shape care standards, caregiver culture, and the overall resident experience with a focus on dignity, comfort, and trust.

Jim Dickson

Jim Dickson was raised in Rancho Santa Fe and attended nearby Roger Rowe School, where his son is now a student, giving him a strong personal connection to the community Casa La Granada serves. As co-founder of , Jim brings firsthand experience understanding the needs of local seniors and their families, along with a practical perspective on what dependable, high-quality care should feel like. He also has a background in finance and real estate, with experience that helps shape the thoughtful planning and operations behind the residence. In addition to his work in senior care, Jim enjoys playing jazz piano and volunteering his time performing at local senior homes.

Chef Julia Shelley was born, raised, and classically trained in France, where her passion for cooking began at an early age. After moving to the Bay Area 15 years ago, she expanded her culinary perspective across a wider range of cuisines and dining styles while continuing to build on her French foundation. Since settling in San Diego 10 years ago, she has focused on creating refined, high-touch catering and private dining experiences for local clients. At Casa La Granada, Chef Julia brings that same standard of care to each meal, combining elegance, flavor, and flexibility to craft dishes that feel both elevated and deeply comforting.
